Annita takes her sculptures scuba diving. She seeks unusual encounters with sea creatures documenting their interaction through video and photography. Favourites such as octopus have manoeuvred porcelain chairs attempting to take them into their dens, cuttlefish explore whilst frequently changing colours. Placing sculptures in this underwater world, considering colours, sea forms and tidal conditions inspire future creations. She surfaces into the real world buzzing with ideas.
